We are North Park
The North Park Neighbourhood Association (NPNA) champions and empowers residents of our neighbourhood through programming, community engagement, events, land use, and policy advocacy. We advocate for justice, equity, affordability-focused and accessible initiatives that reflect the needs and desires of the neighbourhood.
Due to the size of North Park, every inch of land has an important impact, and thus, the NPNA prioritizes advocating for the highest and best use of land in the neighbourhood, in a way that serves its residents.

North Park FAQ’s
I am interested in joining the NPNA board. What does that look like?
Board members commit any number of hours they have the capacity to commit, and usually spend time working on projects of interests. Outside of specific projects, the board meets a minimum of once a month (for 2 hours a meeting).
Anyone can join the board – we have a wide range of people on the board, including professionals, students, homeowners, renters and more. The main requirement to join is an interest in the North Park community.

We have volunteers who work with us long-term (on a recurring basis), and volunteers who help for one-off events. Check out some of our initiatives.
Not seeing a project of interest? Or perhaps a past project that’s no longer operating? Get in touch (hyperlink to get involved page, anchor contact us) if you’re interested in launching something new (or reviving a past project).
What are these meetings all about? When do they happen?
Meetings take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Anyone is welcome to attend. They are located at the Bosa Community Room (1025 Mason Street) from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
Our board and staff discuss different programs, initiatives, land use topics, including any issues or important neighbourhood goings on.
Meetings are kept very informal and interactive. Discussion is encouraged and points of view respected. Sometimes we will have a guest such as a representative of an organization, the City, or a developer.
